CU Expo 2011 will be held at Wilfrid Laurier University and throughout the community of the Waterloo region.
There are three choices for accommodations while attending CU Expo 2011:
- Residences (dorm or apartment style) at Wilfrid Laurier University where the majority of the conference will be held;
- Residences (dorm style) at the University of Waterloo about a 30 minute walk or a bus ride;
- Hotels in the Waterloo region.
* We recommend that you stay at the Wilfrid Laurier university residences which are bright and clean, and a great low-cost option that puts you on this small university campus where the conference is being held.
**All conference participants will be provided will a free pass to use the local bus system. There will be no shuttles offered from the conference sessions on the campus and the hotels. If participants chose to stay in a hotel, they can take the local bus or a cab to the Wilfrid Laurier campus.
Residences
Wilfrid Laurier University - Residences
- Dorm or apartment-style residence.
- Rate: $53.80 per night/per person, plus 13% HST (sales tax).

- $45.75 per night, plus 13% HST for a single room.
- $32.00 per night per person, plus 13% HST for a shared double room.
- These rates includes free internet cafe and free parking.

Hotels in the Waterloo region
All four hotels listed below are accessible by public transit (and you will have a transit pass as part of the conference). If you are driving, the Delta and Walper Terrace are about a ten minute drive, located in downtown Kitchener. The Waterloo Hotel is about a five minute drive; located in downtown Waterloo. The Waterloo Inn is about a five minute drive (going away from downtown) in north Waterloo.
